Is there any way to get a copy of the demo version of Pro-e?
My company is thinking of shifting from inventor, and it would be nice to be able to look over this program, but every link that claims to lead to a demo version instead leads to an ad.
Is there an actual demo version of the program, or is it just a video telling customers how wonderful the program is?
With this you convince any company:
http://download.ptc.com/products/proengineer/wildfire5/interactive-tour/en/index.html (Interactive tour)
(Santa cruz experience)
and here all the content by PTC http://www.ptc.com/products/proengineer/
Thank you for your help.
The problem is not convincing my company.
The problem is convincing me.
I would like to actually at least familiarize myself with how the program 'handles'. Demo videos won't do that.
While Pro-e is one of the major programs out there, it's losing points from me for the irritation value of repeated links to 'demo-versions' that are nothing but come ons for ads.
mmm, ok you need test, download trial version or probe a student version
We have a 30-day trial version of Pro/ENGINEER which comes on a DVD, packaged up with a bunch of Flash tutorials, guiding the new users through the design process.
Please go to http://www.ptc.com/go/tryout - there you can request the DVD and also watch the showcase video.
If you are interested in learning about other users' experiences with Pro/ENGINEER, feel free to post your questions here in our Community. Also, you may want to take a look at some of our case studies: http://www.ptc.com/go/stories
Hope this helps!
